This sand filter is ideal for wastewater filtration, using sand as the filter medium to capture suspended solids (SS). It removes trace amounts of heavy metal suspended solids and fine floating matter contained in wastewater to below regulated values, stabilizing the quality of the treated water.
Features
- One-touch valve operation eliminates the need for cumbersome valve operations when switching processes such as filtration and backwashing.
- Due to the unique shape and three-dimensional arrangement of the packed filter media, it captures a greater amount of suspended solids than conventional filter media layers.
- The specific gravity of the filter material is low, so the amount of washing water required for backwashing is small. In addition, by using the air bubbling method in combination, the amount of washing water can be significantly reduced.
- By adopting it as a component of the “Econovac System®” (recovery and reuse system), the overall processing efficiency of the entire system will be significantly improved.
