Maeda Koki
MAEDA KOKI MKCM Type Oil Signal

Manufacturer: Maeda Machinery Research Institute Ltd.
Model : MKCM type
Features
- Flow switch detects the flow of fluid and turns the switch ON or OFF at the specified flow rate.
- The switch is fixed (the setting cannot be changed later).
- A flow detector that checks the flow of fluid by the movement of a float inside a transparent tube that allows you to see the flow of oil at a glance.
- Comes with a protective cover. The metal protective cover reduces the possibility of damage from external impacts .
- No need to worry about the installation direction.
- A spring is used inside, so the installation position can be freely changed, such as upward, downward, or sideways.

Precautions when using flow switches
1. Precautions regarding magnetic fields
- Reed switches are magnetic switches, so use them in a place where they will not be affected by magnetic fields.
- If there is a magnetic material such as iron near the reed switch, it may cause it to malfunction.
2. Electrical wiring precautions
- Be careful when wiring the flow switch to prevent overcurrent from flowing through the reed switch due to poor earth wiring etc.
- Please use the flow switch as an alarm detector whenever possible.
If you use it in conjunction with other electrical equipment, please take into consideration the effects of malfunction. - The lifespan of the reed switch will be extended if the operating voltage and current are kept as low as possible.
- (Normally, the switch can be operated approximately 1 million times under conditions of 100V 0.5A.)
3. Caution regarding switch operation due to changes in oil temperature and viscosity
If the temperature or viscosity of the oil changes, the switch may not operate at the set flow rate or the switch operating flow rate may change.
