Binzel Japan TES Torch Exchange Station

Manufacturer: BINZEL JAPAN Ltd
Model: TES

TES – Fast and Reliable Torch Changing
The Torch Changing Station (TES) boosts productivity and flexibility by enabling quick, reliable torch changes for ABITIG® WH TIG and MIG/MAG WH torches. Its modular design allows up to four units to be combined, integrating seamlessly into a PLC-controlled fieldbus system for full status monitoring.
A built-in sensor tracks the torch position, while the welding robot controls the change movement, offering flexibility in welding cell design. Ideal for both large industrial plants and small production cells, TES ensures a safe, stable torch change with its integrated wire electrode cutter, preventing arc start and wire feed issues.

Key Benefits:

A simple and inexpensive solution for automatic torch changing
Can be combined with up to four exchange stations
Can be used for TIG* and MIG/MAG applications
Simple and durable design
Low running and repair costs
Increased uptime
Different torch geometries can be used for improved part accessibility
*Currently no cold wire feeding
