Manufacturer:  Fushiman Co.,LTD.
Model: TSR1

ModelNominal diameterPressureTemperature settingBody MaterialConnection
TSR12535 to  70°C

Features

A space-saving design that integrates the heat exchanger and mixing valve into one unit, along with a built-in trap.
Suitable for small to medium hot water flow rates.
Wetted parts use lead-free brass or brass with lead-removal surface treatment.
Coil replacement is simple and low-cost, allowing for easy maintenance.

Structure and Dimensions

Operation Explanation

  • Cold water entering from inlet ① splits into two directions at point ①: one flows to the upper diaphragm chamber of the mixing valve ②, and the other passes through the heat exchanger coil, where it is heated and then directed to the hot water inlet ③ of the mixing valve.

  • Until hot water is used, the mixing valve remains closed with a screw. Once hot water usage begins, the pressure difference between the cold water at inlet ① and the hot water outlet ④⑤ is detected by the diaphragm chamber ② of the mixing valve. The valve automatically adjusts its opening to regulate the mix ratio of cold and hot water, delivering hot water at the desired temperature from outlets ④⑤ to the point of use.

  • Meanwhile, steam enters from steam inlet ⑥ into the main body of the heat exchanger, where it exchanges heat with the cold water in the coil. The steam then condenses into condensate and is discharged from drain outlet ⑦ through a BFF27-type high-capacity trap and exits at point ⑧.

  • The set temperature can be easily adjusted by loosening locknut ⑨ and turning the temperature adjustment part ⑩ toward the hot or cold side. After adjustment, retighten locknut ⑨ securely.

  • Since this device uses a purely mechanical mechanism to adjust the mixing ratio of hot and cold water, even if the cold water temperature fluctuates greatly, the temperature of the outlet hot water will only change slightly. Normally, fluctuations in cold water temperature are minimal, so the effect on hot water temperature is negligible. However, due to larger changes in cold water temperature between summer and winter, it may sometimes be necessary to readjust the temperature setting.

Example of Use

Selection Guidelines・Adjustment Guidelines・Circulation Method

  1. Please refer to the separately prepared instruction manual for selection and adjustment guidelines.

  2. As a general rule, the TSR1 model is installed near the point of use and operated without a circulation system. If a circulation method is required, please request separate documentation.

  3. If the hot water discharge volume is insufficient, consider parallel operation of multiple units.

  4. By operating two units in parallel, it is possible to produce hot water up to a maximum of 90°C.

Others

  1. To use this device normally over a long period, an overhaul is required once every 1 to 2 years.

  2. Typically, after 2 to 3 years, heat efficiency decreases, and it may be necessary to replace the heat exchanger coil. (The replacement period may vary depending on usage conditions, water quality, etc.)

  3. When insulating only the heat exchanger part, please exclude the upper mixing valve section from insulation for maintenance purposes.

  4. For the cold water inlet and hot water outlet of this unit, consider maintenance and use union or flange connections.

Notes When Making an Inquiry

When inquiring about the TSR1-type compact hot water generator, please specify the following items:

  1. Application

  2. Hot water discharge volume (maximum, normal, and minimum)

  3. Desired hot water temperature (maximum, normal, and minimum)

  4. Steam and cold water source pressure

  5. Whether a circulation system is required
