Futaba CGY770R Gyro

Manufacturer: Futaba Corporation
Model: CGY770R

Equipped with a new system [UR Mode]! Built-in receiver, governor, and helicopter 3-axis gyro

The “CGY770R” is a 3-axis gyro for helicopters that integrates a receiver and governor with the new system [UR mode] and wireless tuning functionality.

Features

  • First, you run an all-in-one system that integrates the receiver, a 3-axis gyro, and a governor.

  • Next, you can run the gyro by itself when you need a standalone setup.

  • Moreover, you drive both gyro and governor with the highest-speed control method for crisp response.

  • Meanwhile, you keep the layout sleek with a compact, low-profile, lightweight unit.

  • For easy tuning, you program settings with the GPB-1; just update GPB-1 to Ver. 5.0 or later for use with CGY770R.

  • To streamline workflow, you choose between Basic and Expert menus: set fundamentals quickly, then dive into advanced details when required.

  • Additionally, you connect through the S.BUS2 system and secure links with Dual Rx Link.

  • When conditions change, you fine-tune handling with the sensor response adjustment function.

  • Furthermore, you add wireless-only setting items for quicker field changes.

  • On one screen, you adjust gyro P, I, and D gains in the dedicated GPB-1 menu.

  • For maximum speed, you enable the new UR (Ultra Response) mode with UR-compatible helicopter servos to boost responsiveness.

    • As of March 15, 2024, use HPS-HC701 or HPS-HT700 and update those servos to Ver. 2.0 or later.

    • Also, avoid UR servos made for cars.

    • Finally, set helicopter UR mode on the CGY770R and GPB-1 (not on the transmitter).
