Futaba T3PV (with 4-channel receiver) Transmitter

Power supply unit with battery box: You run this model on batteries, so when a set runs low, you drop in spares and jump right back into racing or adjustments. Moreover, you can remove the battery box in seconds and, if you prefer, swap it for an optional rechargeable pack. As a result, you keep the car on track and your workflow smooth.

Manufacturer: Futaba Corporation
Model: T3PV

Reasonable entry model

This entry-level transmitter is lightweight and comfortable to hold. The use of a telemetry system that monitors information from the receiver enhances the enjoyment of riding.
★The T3PV is a transmitter compatible with “T-FHSS,” “S-FHSS,” and “FHSS.”
★The R314SB and R314SB-E are receivers compatible with “T-FHSS.” The R314SB-E is also a receiver with a built-in antenna.

Features

Futaba’s T3PV delivers the lightest body in its class and sits comfortably in your hand. It gives you precise three-channel control—steering, throttle, and a third channel for accessories such as a gyro—so you dial in handling quickly. Moreover, the dedicated MIX (4ch) suite adds brake mixing for cars with independent front and rear brakes, and it also provides 4WS mixing when you add a rear steering servo to a four-wheel-steer setup. As a result, you balance brake bias, coordinate front–rear steering, and switch configurations with confidence.

  • Equipped with a 2.4GHz telemetry system (only in T-FHSS mode): When combined with the receiver battery voltage and optional sensors, the voltage of the driving battery can also be monitored.
  • Display screen with large fonts for easy viewing

  • Simple and easy-to-understand operation buttons
  • Power supply unit with battery box: You run this model on batteries, so when a set runs low, you drop in spares and jump right back into racing or adjustments. Moreover, you can remove the battery box in seconds and, if you prefer, swap it for an optional rechargeable pack. As a result, you keep the car on track and your workflow smooth.
  • You can dress it up with the optional carbon handle.

Functions and specifications

Setup Related

  • ABS (Anti-Skid Brake System): Applying the brakes while cornering can cause understeer, but using this function makes understeer less likely to occur, allowing you to clear corners more smoothly.
  • EXP (Exponential): You can adjust the response around neutral to be milder or quicker, making it easier to drive by adjusting the steering and throttle response to your liking.
  • Digital trim: This function allows you to fine-tune the car so that it runs straight when in neutral, or to stop the car, and emits a beep with each click. The value is also stored in memory even when the power is turned off.
  • Steering gyro control function (using ch3): When using a Futaba gyro for drift cars or electric grip categories, you can adjust the gyro sensitivity using ch3.
  • Sub-trim: When assembling the vehicle, use the sub-trim to adjust the neutral position of each servo.
  • Reverse: You can reverse the direction of movement for each channel (all channels).
・Steering moves left and right in reverse → Set CH1 to REV
・Forward and backward movement moves in reverse → Set CH2 to REV
  • D/R (Dual Rate): The maximum steering angle of the steering (CH1) can be adjusted equally on both the left and right sides.
  • Failsafe (throttle): If the receiver is unable to receive a normal signal from the transmitter, the throttle signal can be set in advance to force a stop, allowing the motor or engine to be stopped safely.
  • Battery Fail-Safe (Throttle): If the voltage of the receiver/servo battery drops, the throttle signal can be shifted to the brake side, making it particularly recommended for use in gasoline engine cars. The battery fail-safe voltage can also be adjusted. (Some functions are limited on receivers other than the standard set (R314SB/SB-E) and R334SBS series, so please refer to the instruction manual for details.)
  • EPA (End Point Adjuster): Maximum steering angle adjustment (all channels)
  •  T-FHSS / S-FHSS / FHSS  switching: In addition to the standard receiver (T-FHSS system), you can use receivers that are compatible with these systems. Please refer to here for a list of receivers that are compatible with each system .

Mixing Related

Brake mixing: Can be used when using separate brake servos for the front and rear.
4WS: A function that controls the front steering and rear steering with individual servos.
SMX (Special MIX Selection): 4WS mixing or brake mixing can be used.
*This function can be used with receivers with 4 or more channels, so it can be used with the standard receiver (R314SB/SB-E), as well as the R334SBS series (T-FHSS compatible), R214GF-E (FHSS system), and R2008SB (S-FHSS system). It cannot be used with 3-channel/2-channel receivers (R203GF, etc.).

Accessories
