Futaba
Futaba T4PM Plus Transmitter

Manufacturer: Futaba Corporation
Model: T4PM Plus
Mid-range model with high-speed response function
This transmitter is comparable to the T10PX and will satisfy advanced users. Using the “T-FHSS SR” system allows for more comfortable control. Like the T10PX, it is also compatible with the MINI-Z, but this product has a built-in socket.
★The T4PM Plus is a transmitter compatible with “T-FHSS SR,” “T-FHSS,” “S-FHSS,” and “MINI-Z.”
★The R314SB-E is a receiver compatible with “T-FHSS,” while the R334SBS and R334SBS-E are receivers compatible with “T-FHSS” and “T-FHSS SR.”
Features
The T4PM Plus is a T4PM that allows you to enjoy the response of T-FHSS SR communication at a reasonable price, and now comes with a new slot dedicated to the MINI-Z module (FS-RM005 (Note 1)).
This mid-range radio is packed with features, expanding the range of play possibilities while also inheriting the popular wireless servo, gyro, and ESC settings (Note 2).
*Note 1: The MINI-Z module requires the FS-RM005 module (Kyosho Corporation).
*Note 2: Wireless settings are supported by the R334SBS series receiver.
- Direct control with T-FHSS SR and SR-mode servos: The transmitter pairs T-FHSS SR with SR-mode servos to deliver quicker, more connected response than conventional digital servos; moreover, you set the link system and servo mode (SR/digital, etc.) on the receiver settings screen, and you configure telemetry there as well.

Telemetry can only be used in T-FHSS mode. It cannot be used in other modes (T-FHSS SR, S-FHSS, MINI-Z series).
- Edit section: Each function can be easily accessed using the jog switch.

- Micro SD card slot: Used for software updates. (Micro SD card sold separately. Supports SD/SDHC, not SDXC.)
Switch: Can be operated with the left hand while holding the handle.

- Trigger slide: The position of the throttle trigger can be moved forward and backward (7mm), allowing it to fit perfectly to any hand size.

- Design registered
Battery Requirement: Requires four AA batteries (rechargeable batteries are also available separately).
Functions & Specifications
Setup
Receiver settings: Select T-FHSS, T-FHSS SR, S-FHSS, MINI-Z EVO, MINI-Z EVO2, or the MINI-Z module FS-RM005. For a full receiver-compatibility list, check the receiver guide.
Speed: Slow a servo that feels too fast—or, conversely, speed it up when you want a sharper feel.
Acceleration: Tune servo ramp near neutral separately for throttle and brake sides to smooth initial response.
TH ABS: Use ABS to reduce brake lock when grip falls off.
TH mode: Choose 5:5 or 7:3, then set idle-up, neutral brake, engine cut, and more.
Traction: Adjust on-throttle traction while cornering for a calmer exit or a livelier rotation.
CH3 / CH4: Position third- and fourth-channel outputs where you want them.
Start: Configure start-related behavior to match your launch style.
Core tuning: EXP, End Point (EPA), Sub-trim, Reverse, D/R, ATL, and Fail-Safe give you full control.
Model Menu
Select, name, copy, reset, transfer, and delete models; in short, manage your entire garage from the radio.
Mixing
STR MIX: Drive twin steering servos in sync for stronger, more consistent steering.
Brake MIX: Balance separate front and rear brake servos.
Gyro MIX: Adjust Futaba gyro sensitivity directly from the radio.
4WS: Control front and rear steering with individual servos for true four-wheel steer.
Dual ESC: Run front and rear ESCs independently and coordinate them precisely.
CPS MIX: When you add CPS-1 (optional), set LED patterns and lighting behavior.
Tank MIX: Control tracked vehicles smoothly and intuitively.
PROG MIX (1–2): Mix any channels to solve specific handling goals; for example:
make the car rotate harder under braking → reduce gyro gain only while braking,
stabilize acceleration → increase gyro gain when throttle is ON,
cut straight-line hunting → lower gyro gain near steering neutral.
Switch settings: Map your favorite functions to two hardware switches.
Trim/Dial assign: Assign functions to five digital trims and one rotary dial for fast adjustments.
Accessories & Links
S.BUS Servo: Connect servos to the COM port and set S.BUS/S.BUS2 parameters right from the transmitter.
MC Link: Connect a Futaba ESC to the COM port and change settings; moreover, configure MC971CR / MC970CR wirelessly. (For other supported models and any feature limits, see the manual, p. 91.)
Gyro Link: Configure gyros for Panasonic car models from the transmitter; in some cases, you can even do it wirelessly. (For supported models and limits, see the manual, p. 108.)
Timer & Lap List: Track runs and compare pace effortlessly.
Telemetry: Set up telemetry when you run T-FHSS mode. (Telemetry does not operate in T-FHSS SR or S-FHSS.)
Log Data: Save telemetry logs to the transmitter for later review.
Index table (DD cars) & Gear-ratio table: Reference gearing quickly and keep setups consistent.
Adjuster: Calibrate inputs so the sticks and dials read perfectly.
