Common (Airplane / Helicopter / Glider / Multicopter)
- 30 model memories: Name each model freely (up to 8 characters), and organize your fleet with ease.
- Wing & tail types: Choose from 5 airplane wings, 6 glider wings, and 2 tail options to match your airframe.
- Swash types (heli): Select one of 6 swashplate layouts (H-1 / HR3 / H-3 / HE3 / HN3 / H-2) for clean CCPM geometry.
- Program mixing (4 channels): Build four independent mixes—3 linear and 1 five-point curve—so you tailor control exactly.
- D/R (Dual Rate): Tune aileron, elevator, and rudder throw for precision or agility.
- EXP (Exponential): Shape response on aileron, elevator, throttle (except in heli mode), and rudder.
- Fail-safe (all channels): Predefine safe positions across the board for signal-loss events.
- Battery fail-safe (T-FHSS Air): Set the trigger voltage by pack type to protect your model when voltage sags.
- Trim step: Adjust how much each trim click changes the setting.
- Trim type: Pick Normal or ATL (for throttle only), and—for other trims—make trim strongest near center and taper toward the ends.
- Stick alarm: Play a warning when the throttle hits a specified position.
- Battery warnings (beep/vibrate): Get low-battery alerts and set the threshold to match your chemistry.
- Core setup tools: Set end points, digital trim, sub-trim, reverse, and use servo display / servo test for verification.
- AUX CH: Assign CH5–CH8 to your preferred switches or knobs.
- Dual timers: Store two timers per model so you don’t re-enter values when you switch.
- S.BUS servo programming: Edit S.BUS / S.BUS2 parameters right from the radio.
- Trainer: Choose a training style—limit channels or assist only with counter-rudder—and coach with confidence.
- I/O & service ports: Use the trainer connector, a 3.5 mm stereo earphone jack, and the S.IF port to configure S.BUS servos and telemetry sensors.
- User name: Register up to 8 characters for quick identification.
- Model management: Copy models and transfer data wirelessly with Model Transformer.
- Screen adjustments: Set contrast and backlight for any lighting.
- RF formats (2.4 GHz): Run T-FHSS Air or S-FHSS (set this in the Model Select screen). Pair with receivers like R3008SB / R3204SB for T-FHSS Air, or R2001SB for S-FHSS. (Telemetry doesn’t operate in S-FHSS mode; see the receiver compatibility list for details.)
Airplane-Only
- Throttle cut and idle down for safer ground handling.
- Throttle curve for smooth power delivery.
- Gyro (1 axis): Adjust sensitivity and mode from the radio (Panasonic-compatible).
- Aileron differential and V-tail for coordinated handling.
- Camber and air brake logic for approach control.
- Elevator→Flap and Flap→Elevator mixes for pitch-stable flap use.
- Elevon for delta and tailless wings.
Helicopter-Only
- Conditions: Set idle-up and throttle hold for confident autorotation and maneuvers.
- Throttle cut for safe shutdowns.
- Trim offset: Store separate trims for hover and flight, and add delay when you switch for smooth transitions.
- Gyro (1 axis): Adjust gain from the transmitter (Panasonic-compatible).
- Swash AFR and Swash Mixing to refine cyclic response.
- Throttle & pitch curves to shape power and lift across the stick.
- Pitch→Rudder to keep the tail locked during collective changes.
- Hovering throttle / hovering pitch for stable station-keeping.
- Governor mix: Set headspeed from the radio (works with Futaba governors and gyros with built-in governors).
Glider-Only
- Condition select to swap quickly between launch, cruise, thermal, and speed.
- Motor switch for clean electric-glider arming.
- Gyro (1 axis): Tune gain from the transmitter (Panasonic-compatible).
- Aileron differential and V-tail for efficient soaring.
- Butterfly (crow) for steep, controlled descents.
- Trim Mix: Move AIL/ELE/FLP/RUD trims to preset positions with a switch.
- Elevator→Camber and Camber mixes for precise wing shaping.
- Aileron→Camber to couple roll input with wing camber for better turns.
Multicopter-Only
- Flight Mode selection for different mission profiles.
- Center alarm: Play a tone at a chosen throttle position to aid camera ops or arming.
- Throttle curve and throttle delay for cinematic control.
- Gyro (1 axis): Since the FC handles primary stabilization, use this channel for camera-stabilizer tuning (Panasonic-compatible).
