Isolite Insulating Isowool BSF Textile

Manufacturer: Isolite Insulating
Features
Sealing or packing material
BSF ROPE ranges from twisted BSF YARN G to braided rope made up of BSSR BLANKET – a base component cut into long strips, and the surface reinforced with fiber glass yarn/stainless wire.
BSF ROPE and BRAID are not used as a load-bearing rope but used exclusively as a sealing or packing material. BSF ROPEs are non-rigid products of loosely twisted yarn. BSF ROPE – as a sealing material is a substitute for asbestos. BSF ROPEs are used in containers and piping for the transportation of molten metals because of their non-wetting nature by molten metals including aluminum.
Typical Applications
- Steam/high-temp. gas ducts
- Kiln door
- Various pipe sealing
- Damper hot parts sealant
- Asbestos substitute
BSF YARN
BSF YARN is a twisted yarn made up of Biosoluble fiber (AES wool) and reinforcing fibers.
