2.Modbus communication

The HNU also supports the Modbus communication protocol
The HNU collects all HART protocol data and sends it directly to the DCS or PLC via Modbus communication. Furthermore, this seamless integration ensures that your control system maintains real-time access to all field device diagnostics.
In this way even a DCS or PLC that does not support HART can receive a HART signal through Modbus, and can realize HART applications such as monitoring the position of a control valve or the temperature of an important transmitter.

3.Flexible mounting
The HNU’s compact DIN rail mounting allows users to easily add HART-compliant interfaces to any existing system. Moreover, this external mounting design simplifies installation and minimizes the need for extensive hardware reconfiguration. Flexible and scalable mounting for small to large installations is possible by means of blocks of multiple HNUs or HNUs distributed by Ethernet.

4.Individual isolation between channels
Individual isolation protects each channel and the power supply connection. Furthermore, this design prevents ground loops and ensures that a single point of failure does not compromise the entire system.Channels do not affect the isolation of the existing loop.
5.Efficient mounting
One HNU connects up to 16 HART devices using individual, separate wiring.Specifically, this design eliminates the need for dedicated AI or AO hardware, thereby enabling low-cost implementation for systems with a small number of I/O points.
