Binzel Japan COMPACT Fume Suction Torch xFUME ®

Manufacturer: BINZEL JAPAN Ltd
Model COMPACT

Until now, it has not been easy to suck up the fumes while welding thin plates.
With the xFUME ® COMPACT from ABIOR BINZEL , traditional, inconvenient suction torches, which are very heavy and offer poor visibility during welding processes, are a thing of the past. Whether it’s robotic remanufacturing of production parts, finishing processes, small repair work or welding in a workshop, this air-cooled MIG/MAG fume suction torch ensures safety and health of workers in sheet metal welding while respecting them. Once you’ve used this welding fume suction torch, you’ll never want to use another torch again because it fits so well in your hand, offers good visibility to check the weld seam and allows efficient suction of welding fumes while ensuring optimal shielding gas.

Since the start of 2020, when the regulations on welding fume extraction came into force, the demands on occupational safety and health have increased. With the right mobile welding fume extraction equipment, such as the air-cooled fume extraction torch xFUME® COMPACT or ABICOR BINZEL’s xFUME ® ADVANCED , FES-200 W3 or FEC W3 , thin sheet MAG welding work up to 250A becomes clean, safe and easy.

Suction of fume sources with xFUME ® COMPACT

Occupational health and safety in welding is as important as good weld seam quality and customer-satisfying welding results. A good working environment for the welder cannot be achieved without a lightweight, practical, reliable and functional welding torch as well as a fume extraction system that extracts harmful welding fumes in the best possible way. Extracting welding fumes at their source is clearly recommended by the German Ordinance on Harmful Substances (Gefahrenstoffverordnung – GefStoffV) in DIN EN ISO 15012-1 Annex I No. 2 – Harmful Particulate Substances), because depending on the torch position, this fume extraction technology results in 90-99% of the fumes being collected and up to 99.95% of all dust particles (>.1μm) are filtered in the form of welding fumes.
The combination of the fume suction torch xFUME® COMPACT with mobile fume suction devices such as xFUME ® ADVANCED , FES-200 W3 or FEC W3 from ABICOR BINZEL forms the ideal solution for fume suction in air-cooled MIG / MAG welding.
A high-performance suction system ensures fume suction at the source. The suction system has technical features of high negative pressure and low flow rate, which allows high static pressure capacity and high fume suction flow rate. Harmful welding fumes are sucked directly from the source by the suction nozzle at the front end of the suction torch, but are collected and filtered by the mobile suction device, and clean air is returned to the working environment.

Features

If you are welding thin plates up to 250A or need fume extraction at the source, the xFUME ® COMPACT is your best choice. This ABICOR BINZEL fume extraction torch is the ideal fume extraction torch for semi-automatic rewelding after robotic welding processes, simple welding work in finishing processes, small repair work and workshop welding work.

Fume suction torches tend to be perceived as inconvenient and heavy due to their design for welding fume suction function, but if you take a look at the xFUME ® COMPACT, you will be surprised by its slim design. Once you pick it up and use it, this fume suction torch will surely become your favorite tool.
