The iCAT robot holder was developed for the latest welding robots. The cable runs through the 6th axis of the robot, allowing a safe and flexible installation of either air- or water-cooled torches.
The secret:
Collision detection up to 10° of displacement – optimal repeatability
The collision detection capabilities of the Integrated Robot are combined with those of iCAT to ensure instantaneous stopping in the event of a collision.
Cable is kink resistant – long life
Air- or water-cooled torch rotates 480° (± 240°) in the robot’s 6 axes – great flexibility and good torch working range
The cable is directly connected, allowing for stable current supply.
