Features
JM is single phase thyristor regulator that receives signal from controller, PLC and manual setting unit and regulates power provided to the electric furnace heater, 7 types of rated current are prepared from 10A to 500A so capacity according to the heater ratings can be selected.
.1.Ease of Settings and Checking Operations
- Allows checking of parameters and load status (voltage, current, power, resistance).
2.Built-in Setting Display Unit and Panel Mounting Types
- Provides a Thyristor model that can be matched with the place of installation.
3.Improvement in Safety Features
- Load current is measured, and a gate-off alarm is activated in case of overcurrent.
Built-in rapid fuse protects from overcurrent.
Models with a rated current of 200A or more monitor heat sink temperature and turn off the gate and output an alarm in case of abnormal heating. Also predicts failures by monitoring cooling fan rotations and notifies to replace the fan before it breaks down.
4.Heater Disconnection Alarm
- Outputs an alarm when load resistance value goes above the set disconnection rate. Detects disconnection of one wire out of seven in Phase-angle firing, and one wire out of five in zero cross firing.
5. RS485 (MODBUS) Communication Function
- Provides integrated management of power monitoring, parameters, and alarm detection by higher-order devices (like PC and PLC).
