- The semi-automatic switching device is a gas collecting device with two container lines A and B.
- Two regulators connect in parallel to each system of the A and B lines. Each regulator adjusts the secondary pressure by adding a differential pressure to the set value. As a result, gas begins to flow from the container line (A) with the higher set value. When the gas level in line A decreases, the flow rate remains constant, and the other line automatically starts to flow.
- A supply device designed to switch the supply line to the container line (B).
To maintain stable gas supply, replace the empty container in line A with a filled one and rotate the switching lever 180° (CH-100 type, SC-15-B type, LC-140 type) or adjust the handle (CH-140 type). This action increases the variable secondary pressure of line B, ensuring it exceeds that of line A. Consequently, stable gas supply is achieved from line B. When the gas level in line B becomes low, gas automatically starts flowing from line A. Repeat this process by replacing the empty container in line B with a filled one and operating the switching lever or adjustment handle. This action increases the variable secondary pressure in line B, ensuring it is lower than line A, thus supplying gas more stably than line A.. “By repeating this procedure, it is possible to supply gas continuously.”
In addition, by installing a pressure gauge with a lower limit contact on the primary side and connecting it to the alarm panel, the gas supply line can be switched. A buzzer and patrol lamp inform you of the situation, so it is convenient for container replacement.
