Overview of GR Series

Previously, measuring pressure under severe vibration and pulsation conditions was challenging due to the short product lifespan and large fluctuations in the pointer, making accurate measurements difficult. However, by filling the internal mechanism with a glycerin solution, we have developed a product that enables accurate measurements.

Features of GR Series

In cases of significant pulsation pressure, devices often became inoperable in a short period. However, by using this device, we have significantly increased durability. The comparative test results between the traditional model and this device are as follows:

– Pressure Gauge Used: 100φ × 10MPa; Base Pressure 5MPa
– Pulsation ±0.5MPa; Vibration Rate 1200/min; Amplitude ±0.7mm
– General Type: Needle rise of 5° in approximately 70 hours
– Glycerin-Filled Type: Needle rise of 5° in 2200 hours

This results in durability that is 30 times stronger, and the fluctuation of the needle during operation is reduced to about 1/6. Moreover, it uses the same mounting holes as general products, ensuring compatibility with existing vibration-resistant types. The glycerin solution falls under Class 4, Category 3 petroleum equivalent according to fire safety regulations, presenting less risk of fire and being harmless, making it suitable for use in the food industry as well.
