Overview
The contact switch pressure gauge utilizes low-contact pressure switches. It is primarily used for alarms such as bells, buzzers, and flashing lamps. By operating the appropriate relay with this signal, its applications can be significantly expanded.
Features
This pressure gauge is ideal not only for alarms but also when on-site instructions are necessary. With just one pressure element, the pointer itself serves as the contact, making it relatively compact and lightweight.
Its scale for indication and setting are identical, simplifying the setup process. By moving the setting needle, you can set it as desired, and it’s easy to understand its operation at a glance.
The contact points utilize high-melting-point platinum. The case is available in both drip-proof and indoor specifications, catering to various environmental conditions.

Notes
- To prevent chattering, even if installed in a location free of vibrations, the contact should always be OFF and turned ON only when an alarm occurs.
- Most failures in the ability to open and close contacts
are due to rough or welded contacts, or poor contact due to minute voltage and current, so please pay special attention to the following items. - Please install it in a place free from mechanical vibration.
- When using in equipment with pulsating pressure, take care to create a static pressure state using a dampener, etc.
- For inductive load switching circuits, install a surge suppressor circuit to prevent contact failure due to surge or inrush, if necessary.
- The rated capacity of the contact is expressed as the maximum value, so please be careful not to exceed it even momentarily, especially with the inrush of lamp loads, although it will differ depending on the usage conditions.
- Make sure that the power-on time is as short as possible.
- In sequence circuits using ICs, etc., the current is too low, resulting in poor contact. At least 20mA or more is required.
- If the movement of the pointer is extremely slow and incomplete contact is observed when turning the contacts ON and OFF, please use a delay relay as repeated use will significantly shorten the service life.
- Do not use this product in an atmosphere of flammable gas such as city gas, propane gas, or air mixed with organic solvents, as there is a risk of explosion.
- When the indicator needle contacts the contact needle and moves further, products with lower maximum pressure will cause errors in the reading. This is not a malfunction because even if the pointer tries to move, the balance spring’s restoring force works to push the pointer back.
