Allows BSC protocol devices, such as large computers, to connect to Ethernet, enabling network integration.
Enet-BX is the successor to the popular Enet-B, featuring enhanced functionality.
Provides a one-to-one interface between Ethernet and independent synchronous (BSC) RS232C.
The Ethernet channel includes TCP/IP protocol as standard and supports TCP/IP socket communication.
BSC communication settings and Ethernet addresses are configured in program mode and stored in FLASHROM (electrically erasable/editable memory).
Properly configured protocols can communicate seamlessly without requiring complex inter-protocol adjustments.
Settings can be saved in FLASHROM via the console port (asynchronous RS232C) or by TELNET login over Ethernet.
Ethernet channel supports 10Base-T / 100Base-TX, with automatic switching.
The BSC channel connector is a D-sub 25-pin female (DTE arrangement) and is dedicated to BSC communication.
