• This compact box-type RS232C to RS422 converter operates on an AC100V power supply and is suitable for various installation environments.
• TRS, TRS-OPT, and TRS-T models include dedicated fittings for easy mounting inside control panels and other locations.
• Using two units allows you to extend the communication distance between RS232C devices up to 1200 meters.
• The converter can be used to adjust signal levels between the RS232C port of a computer and the RS422 interface of measuring instruments and similar equipment.
• TRS and TRS-T models support multi-drop configurations for connecting multiple devices.
• TRS switches between sending and receiving using the RTS line on the RS232C side, while TRS-T uses either the RTS or DTR line for switching.
• TRS-OPT and TRS-T include an internal photocoupler for insulation and a surge absorber on the RS422 (RS485) side to protect internal circuits from electrostatic discharge and other surges.
• You can securely mount the unit on a DIN rail using an optional DIN rail mounting bracket.
