DIJET EXSIX Type Shoulder Six

Product: Made in Japan
Manufacturer: DIJET
Model: EXSIX Type

Indexable shoulder milling cutter “SHOULDER 6” EXSIX type have high rigidity 6 corners insert.
EXSIX have excellent chip removal rate and high rigidity body .
Max depth of cut (ap)=10
is possible,
EXSIX are usabele for wide applications such as face milling, slotting and plunging.

Features of body

・SHOULDER SIX has high rigidity (or rigid body) and provide excellent metal removal rate. Max depth of cut (ap)=10mm. It can be used for wide range of applications such as face milling, slotting and plunging.

・Economical double-side insert(6 corners).2 different corner radiuses, R0.8 and R1.6 are available,Rigid 7.5mm thickness insert makes it possible to do stable machining for rough machining. Moreover, even double side insert, EXSIX achieves to reduce the cutting resistance. Because axial rake angle is positive, due to our unique 3D geometry.

・Because of arc-geometry on the periphery cutting edge,SHOULDER SIX achieve highly efficient and high precisions machining for vertical wall.

・Insert grade: is for General steel and mold steel less than 35HRC. is for Cast iron and High hardened die steel less than 50HRC.

Feature of insert

Economical double-side insert(6 corners).
7.5 mm thickness provides high rigidity, enabling stable machining for roughing.
Corner R size is R0.8 & R1.6

Insert grade <JC8050> for General steel and Mold steel less than 35HRC.
Insert grade <JC8118> for Cast iron and High hardened die steel less than 50HRC
