Feature of products

High rigidity specification for high depth of cut and high feed machining.
The thick, highly rigid inserts (6 corners on double sides) and the highly rigid G-Body body are firmly clamped together in a wedge-shape. It also excels in ramping and pocket milling, and enables high feed machining with L/D=6 or more.

”PM insert” for extreme high cutting depth on Max.ap=3mm
Suitable for face milling of ap=1.4mm or more and shape machining such as pocket machining.

“PL insert” for stable pocket milling on Max.ap=2mm.
Suitable for machining shapes such as pocket milling with ap = 0.6 mm to ap = 1.2 mm. The composite shape of the straight and radius cutting edges reduces fluctuations in cutting resistance during corner machining, realizing stable machining and extending tool life.
