Description
When measured substances (liquids, fines, slurry, etc.) contact the electrode in the tank, the electrostatic capacity between the electrode and tank wall changes. The electrode’s electronic circuit detects this change and converts it into a relay signal (ON-OFF) to detect the presence of the material, triggering an alarm or control action.
