Feature
- A W-based alloy is a sintered alloy with W as the main component and containing a small amount of Ni and other elements.
- Typically, the W content in the alloy is 90 wt% or more, and the alloy density is approximately 17.0–18.5.
- This material is particularly excellent in mechanical properties at high temperatures.
- Fujiroy FHR is manufactured using powder metallurgy in the same way as cemented carbide.
- Grinding, cutting, and electrical discharge machining are possible.
