Overview

The Aegis® SGR uKIT, designed with special brackets, fits various motor shapes. Some models are in stock domestically, allowing for quick delivery. This kit includes the Aegis® SGR ring and four types of brackets (mounting legs), which can be easily combined. This flexibility ensures immediate protection against electrical discharge machining (EDM) during motor maintenance.

Ideal for low-voltage AC motors under 375 kW and DC motors up to 225 kW, the Aegis® SGR uKIT offers effective bearing protection. Additionally, you may need shaft insulation on the non-drive end.

Applications

• Low-Voltage Motors: Suitable for AC motors under 375 kW and DC motors under 225 kW.
• When Direct Attachment is Not Possible: Use when the ring cannot be directly mounted onto the motor bracket.
• Limited Shaft Diameter Information: Ideal when only the shaft end diameter (S dimension) is known.
