Product Description
The FAC01EJ020 is an RS-232C/485 intelligent converter developed exclusively for our 2.4GHz band SS wireless modem FRH-SD04T . RS-232C is an extremely widely used serial communications interface, but has the drawback of short communication distances. RS485 is therefore used in areas requiring long distances or multi-drop.
The FRH-SD04T is a 2.4GHz band SS wireless modem equipped with an RS485 interface, and when the FRH-SD03T with RS-232C interface is installed on mobile devices such as AGVs (automated guided vehicles) and AGFs (automated forklifts) operating in factory automation, wide area coverage is possible by connecting multiple FRH-SD04T units via RS485 multidrop to the upper base station. When the FRH-SD04T is used in conjunction with the FAC01EJ020 , a collision prevention function is provided to prevent data collisions on the RS485 line that can occur when multiple FRH-SD04T units are connected via multidrop
Both the RS-232C line and the RS485 line use asynchronous communication and support a maximum baud rate of 38.4 kbps . The RS-232C line and the RS485 line can also be set independently .
Compatible with various power sources including AC100V (dedicated AC adapter) and DC5-31V.
