Futaba
Futaba T6PV Transmitter

Manufacturer: Futaba Corporation
Model: T6PV
High-mid model with fastest response function
This mid-high class transmitter combines the operability of the T4PM Plus with the elements of the T10PX. The full-color display allows for intuitive operation. Furthermore, compatibility with the fastest system, “F-4G,” makes it easier to experience the “feeling function” that provides stability during operation.
★The T6PV is a transmitter compatible with “F-4G,” “T-FHSS,” “S-FHSS,” and “MINI-Z.”
★The R404SBS and R404SBS-E are receivers compatible with “F-4G.”
Features
- F-4G system and UR mode (*Note 1) provide high-speed response approaching that of the T10PX

- Equipped with 6 systems: F-4G, T-FHSS, S-FHSS, MINI-Z EVO, MINI-Z EVO2, MINI-Z FHSS.

T-FHSS SR mode is not supported, but the servo’s “SR mode” can still be used with the F-4G system servo settings.
FS-RM005 module (Kyosho Corporation) installed. - Normal, Big, and Drift “Model Types”

- Also equipped with settings for crawlers

- Feeling adjustment function: By taking advantage of the high-speed response while adding a mild flavor, it becomes easier to drive.

- Supports up to 6 channels (*Note 2)
- Lightest in its class & highly balanced design
- Equipped with a microSD card slot.
The microSD card is used to store model data, telemetry data, and for software updates. (MicroSD card sold separately. Supports SD/SDHC, but not SDXC.) - New wheel unit / APA (*Note 3) / APA Angler / Trigger adopted
- Grip rubber: In addition to the included size (M), you can choose the size that is most comfortable for you from the optional grip rubbers (S or L)

. - Wheel position can be adjusted using the steering APA (Accessories: Steering APA (24.0) & Angle Spacer (5°))

- High-brightness, wide-viewing-angle full-color LCD and jog key setup

- Equipped with a body catch pin holder at the bottom of the grip. (Body catch pin not included)

- Requires dry cell batteries (AA). Optional LiFe batteries ( FT2F1100B , FT2F1700B V2 , FT2F2100B V2 ) can also be used.
For LiFe batteries, the non-contact charger ( LF-02 ) can also be used. - Li-Po battery for Tx ( LT2F2000B ) and NiMH battery for Tx ( HT5F1800B ) are also available.

The LT2F2000B can be charged by removing the rubber cap next to the battery cover. - You can use the 3D carbon handle for T10PX ( sold separately ).
A wide range of options are available to help you create a unique vehicle.
*Note 1: Be sure to use a servo that supports UR mode.
*Note 2: When using channels 5 and 6 in F-4G mode, please use an S.BUS2 servo or SBD-2 with the S.BUS2 port of the R404SBS/R404SBS-E.
*Note 3 Adjustable Positioning Adaptor
Functions & Specifications
Setup Menu
- Receiver settings: Choose F-4G, T-FHSS, S-FHSS, or MINI-Z and then pair with a compatible receiver. In addition, MINI-Z supports EVO, EVO2, and MINI-Z FHSS (MINI-Z FHSS requires the Kyosho FS-RM005 module).
Telemetry: Use telemetry only in F-4G, T-FHSS, and MINI-Z EVO2 two-way modes; other modes won’t provide telemetry. - Servo View: Check every channel’s servo movement in real time, so you can verify steering angle and mixing behavior while you adjust.
- Throttle Mode: Set neutral brake to apply brakes at trigger neutral when you want a safer idle.
- Reverse: Define each channel’s direction for steering, throttle, CH3/CH4, and any spare channels, so the hardware always follows your inputs.
- Sub-trim: During assembly, fine-tune each servo horn’s center to establish a true reference for all linkages.
- Endpoint: Set left/right steering throw, throttle/brake travel, and CH3/CH4 up/down ranges precisely to match your linkage.
- Fail-safe: Predefine servo positions for signal loss or low receiver-battery voltage; once the receiver regains a valid signal, the system automatically returns to normal control.
- Acceleration: Shape throttle response near neutral independently for forward and brake sides to smooth tip-in.
- Trim/Dial Assign: Map functions to DT1–DT6 trims and the DL1 dial for quick access.
- Switch Settings: Assign your preferred features to SW1–SW3 and choose how each switch operates.
- Idle Up: Raise idle when you start a gas car (or boat) and prevent unwanted braking on certain electric setups. For ESCs such as MC971CR/MC970CR/MC960CR/MC950CR/MC851C/MC602C/MC402CR, enable Idle Up only after the ESC learns neutral—just like Neutral Brake.
- D/R, ATL: Set dual rate and adjust ATL to balance steering throw and brake feel.
- Channel Assignment: Re-route steering or throttle to any channel—or mirror them on another channel—so your layout matches your build.

Mixing Menu
- Steering Mix: Drive dual steering servos smoothly and in sync.
- Brake Mix: Balance separate front and rear brake servos.
- Gyro Mix: Adjust Futaba gyro gain directly from the radio.
- 4WS Mix: Coordinate independent front and rear steering servos for true four-wheel steer.
- Dual ESC: Control front and rear ESCs independently, then blend them as needed.

- Starting: Squeeze the trigger smoothly and let the system snap to a preset position for a clean launch.
- Engine Cut: Send the throttle servo to a preset cut position with a switch to shut the engine down.
- Feeling: Calm an overly jumpy response by choosing mild; quicken it by choosing aggressive; or turn Feeling off for the fastest response.
- Drag Racing (Trans Brake): Hold the car with full-open throttle, then release the trans brake for a sharp, repeatable hit.
