- Graco specifically designs copper-heated hoses for use with their proportioners. These hoses feature a proprietary butyl cover that protects against moisture-sensitive isocyanate. Additionally, the company covers the hoses with foam insulation to retain heat. To prevent the accidental connection of the wrong hoses, they equip the isocyanate and resin hoses with different fitting sizes. Furthermore, Graco has developed a custom splice kit that allows for the electrical connection of hoses without the need to run copper under the fittings. Lastly, for added flexibility and a longer life, they employ a helix-design for the whip hose, which includes braided copper wires.
