The air conditioner control unit/parent unit receives an alarm from the demand monitoring device as a contact signal via power line communication from the parent unit.
The child unit inputs this signal as a contact to the demand board. The demand board controls the output of the outdoor unit in response to this contact, resulting in energy-saving operation.
Since it is output control rather than ON/OFF, indoor air conditioners are comfortable and energy-efficient.
