HANKOKU Siren Remote Control System

Made in Japan
Manufacturer: HANKOKU ELECTRIC CO.,LTD.

Siren remote control system that allows remote operation, control and monitoring in emergencies!
Choose from three methods

The installation of alarm devices is essential to quickly inform people of a crisis and protect their lives and livelihoods in the event of a disaster. However, the one thing that must be avoided at all costs with alarm devices is that they do not ring or cannot be heard.
At Hankoku Electric, we offer a system construction proposal that allows remote operation, control, and monitoring even in an emergency, with a choice of three methods: NTT dedicated line (bandwidth item 3.4 kHz), IP line, and IoT cloud.

Criteria for choosing a remote control system

When building a remote siren control system, it is important to take into consideration the following four points.

Cost: Is there a way to lower maintenance and operating expenses?

Maintenance period: Is quick repair possible?

Operability:  Is it easy to operate and can it issue a warning quickly ?

Reliability: Can you make the motor siren sound reliably ?

NTT Dedicated Line

Connecting to a remote location with an NTT dedicated line (3.4kHz bandwidth) allows remote control and operation of multiple sirens. It is also possible to control and operate them remotely from multiple locations.

Features

Using NTT’s dedicated lines ensures high reliability and safety during emergencies. The always-connected line allows for rapid monitoring of equipment operation and status. Terrain and weather conditions do not affect the wired connection, guaranteeing stable communication.

Applications

  • Remote control of fire sirens

The fire department headquarters provides centralized command and management for the convening of fire brigade units.

  • Remote control of emergency management alarm sirens

Issuance of evacuation advisories and instructions by government offices, emergency response headquarters, etc.

  • Regular sounding of the time signal siren

Transmitting time signals over a wide area.

IP Line

Using IP lines ensures a constant connection between the parent station (operating side) and the child station (non-operating side), minimizing the time lag for start-up, siren activation, and monitoring. Connection is possible via LAN or WAN.

 Features

Siren allows remote start and stop with pattern control.
It is possible to remotely monitor whether the siren is working properly.
Power outages, power supply abnormalities, siren overcurrent, etc. can be monitored remotely.
It is possible to monitor whether the IP line is connected properly.
The connection to the device is LAN (RJ45), which is highly versatile and allows you to freely choose between wired and wireless lines.
By using Ethernet, VPN, etc., it is possible to build a system in a secure environment.

*IP address setting is required.

IoT Cloud

The siren is remotely controlled from a cloud-based web application using the mobile carrier network. Operation is performed using a computer or smartphone with a web connection, but the IoT siren control panel also has a switch for activating the siren.

HANKOKU

Features

  • If you are within the LTE communication area, there is no need for radio wave propagation surveys, relay station considerations, or construction work. All control functions can be implemented in one housing, reducing construction costs and time.
  • The LTE communication module enables automatic issuance of emergency earthquake and tsunami warnings.
  • By registering and managing user IDs, you can set the operation range and restrict access.
  • Status monitoring of IoT siren control devices
