Most suitable for high precision grinding and slicing.
Features
- As there is no heat generation in the chuck, hence reduction in accuracy on account of thermal displacement is difficult to occur.
- Electro permanent magnetic chuck requires electrical power to switch ON and OFF the magnet for few seconds. During ON, built-in strong permanent magnets hold the workpiece.
- Electric consumption can be reduced. Also it is safe because it can keep holding workpiece even if there is power failure or disconnection of wire during the operation.
