Cooperation with IRD/IDD series
Leader is process data collection software exclusively for the IRD/IDD series.
It fully utilizes the rich display patterns and measurement function potential of the IRD/IDD series.
Various settings and operations for the display unit
- By using Leader to configure various display settings, the configuration process becomes much easier to understand than when using the display unit alone.
- You can efficiently configure settings using the settings copy function and external file (CSV) reading function.
- In addition to system settings, schedule settings, part number settings, and plan settings, you can also perform operations such as date and time settings, measurement value correction, and forced plan termination from your PC.
- Plan settings can be registered in advance for each day and automatically transferred to the display unit at the specified time on the day.
(If you do not use Leader, only the settings for the day will be sent.) - Eliminates the limit on the number of part numbers that can be set. There is no limit to the number of part numbers that can be registered.
(Up to 30 part numbers if Leader is not used.) - You can register up to 99 schedule settings (up to 3 patterns if you do not use Leader).

Real-time Monitor
- Leader’s production monitor displays the production status of up to 30 lines in real time.
- Delays and other conditions are displayed in color, allowing you to instantly grasp the status of each line.
- You can check information on your computer that is not displayed on the display unit.You
can also select to display the total value of all lines, or display by plan/cumulative total. - The sampling graph displays the number of achievements and average takt time along with the target value,
allowing you to intuitively grasp the progress towards the target. - By using the viewing monitor (optional software sold separately) , you can view the production monitor from other computers on the LAN.

Measurement data collection
- Leader records and accumulates not only the final production results (production history), but also information such as intermediate progress (sampling results) and stoppage history.
- The accumulated data can be output to an external file in CSV format, allowing you to use the data in various software such as Excel.
- You can also view, edit, and print data on the Leader.

What is a viewing monitor?
The View Monitor is software that allows you to monitor information equivalent to the [Production Monitor] of the process data collection software “Leader” on other computers on the LAN.

What you need to prepare
Process Data Collection Display IRD/IDD series (1 to 30 units)
Recommended version: 4.10 or later
Connectable version: 3.70 or later
*Depending on the display unit specifications and version, connection may not be possible or some functions may be limited. The display unit version can be checked using command code 90 on the setter.
*Old Santec displays (RD and SDC) can also be used if the display unit version is compatible.
*Leader can also be used with the Omron TP300 series by replacing the display unit’s program ROM.For wired connections 0.5sq 3-core shielded wire : MVVS3C x 0.5SQ (maximum length 1km)
