Expanded metal has the highest productivity among all metal screens, so it can be produced at a relatively low cost. However, until now it has been produced as a crude industrial product, and has been used for gratings, steps, laths, etc., and has been difficult to use in front of design.

Art Expanded Metal Details

The basic materials are aluminum and steel. (Stainless steel may be available as a special order.)

Plate thicknesses ranging from 1.5mm to 3mm are available.

Standard dimensions:
LWD 1000mm x SWD 2000mm
LWD 1250mm x SWD 2500mm
LWD 1500mm x SWD 3000mm
Maximum dimensions outside the standard dimensions: Maximum LWD 1500mm due to limitations of manufacturing machinery. There is no theoretical limit to length (SWD) in manufacturing, but there is a limit due to limitations of transportation means.

We offer surface finishes such as plain, various baked-on paints, and anodized finishes. Please contact us if you have any other desired surface finishes.

Features of construction:
The strand width is wide, so it is highly rigid. Since no base frame is required, it is economical and easy to install.
A wide variety of designs are available, so there is a high degree of freedom in design expression.
Due to the nature of the processing, the cut surface will be sharp, so it is recommended to install it in places that are usually out of reach for both exterior and interior use.
