Features of the aluminum alloy superstructure

Lightweight
When aluminum alloy is used, its specific gravity is about 1/3 that of iron, so even taking into account its strength, the superstructure can be made to weigh less than half that of iron.
Increased stability
Reducing the weight on the top lowers the center of gravity, increases the GM, and increases the stability (restoring force) of the ship.
Non-magnetic
Because aluminum is not magnetic, it increases the sensitivity of marine instruments, reduces errors, and ensures stable navigation.
High corrosion resistance
Because it uses a corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy, it has excellent corrosion resistance even against seawater, helping to reduce the labor required for rust removal and painting.
