The surface of the gauge is covered with a special resin to create a water-resistant structure, and it can be used not only outdoors but also underwater just by sticking it with an adhesive. (Insulation resistance hardly drops even after 100 hours at about 10 MPa in water.) The resin is highly flexible and can be easily adhered to curved surfaces.
