Kyowa SRLS-120AS Wireless Repeater SRLS-100 Series Long Range Radio Unit

Made in Japan
Manufacturer: Kyowa Electronic Instruments Co., Ltd.
Model: SRLS-120AS Wireless Repeater

  • Stable wireless communication over a longer distance by the LoRa® method (proven communication distance of 20 km under certain conditions)
  • Up to 20 channel measurement
  • Long-term (about 1 year) continuous measurement

Feature

It is a wireless system featuring long-distance wireless communication, multi-channel measurement, and long-term measurement.
Each receiver can be equipped with up to 1 transmitters that support 2 channels, for a total of 10 channels.
Strain gauge transducers, civil engineering transducers with temperature measurement functions, or transmitters compatible with voltage are available.
In addition, for power saving, continuous measurement of about 20 year is possible with the built-in lithium battery (when the measurement interval is 1 hour).
It is very effective for improving the efficiency of on-site measurements such as tunnel displacement, mountainous slopes, and river water levels, which require long-term measurement.

Configuration

  • Wireless receiver SRLS-110A
  • Transmitter SRLS-100A-S (wireless transmitter for strain) SRLS-100A-V (wireless transmitter for voltage)
  • Repeater SRLS-120AS (wireless repeater)
    Software SRLS-10A (Control Software)

Specification

Relay source transmitter type SRLS-100A-S,SRLS-100A-V
Number of transmitter relays Up to 10 units
Mode of operation Sleep mode: Sleep mode is in place while waiting for measurement. Magnetic switch or tact switch can be operated even in sleep mode.
Reception mode: According to the measurement interval, the built-in clock wakes up every hour on the hour and communicates with the transmitter.
After communication with the transmitter, data is transmitted to the receiver.
After communication is completed, it enters sleep mode. The measurement interval (except for the measurement interval “always” setting)
can be set with a rotary switch.
(Measurement interval always/10 minutes/30 minutes/1 hour/3 hours/6 hours/12h/1day)
PC connection mode: PC connection, but responds to wireless communication from the transmitter.
Built-in clock setting, data collection, and deletion are possible from the dedicated software.
Incoming/Outgoing Data Time (year, month, date, time), measured value, battery voltage, transmitter device temperature (measured value is strain 2 channels, temperature
2 channels, or voltage 2 channels)
Number of measurement data stored 88000 data per transmitter
(equivalent to 10 transmitters measuring once an hour and acquiring data
per year)
Configuration features Groups 1-10 (rotary switch) Measurement interval Always/10 min/30 min/1 hour/3 hours/6 hours/12 hours/1 day (rotary switch) time (PC)
Display function LED display 10 points (sensor status, battery level, radio wave status) LCD display (time, group, built-in battery voltage, communication interval, transmitter ID with communication history)
(LED display / LCD display can be displayed / hidden with the slide switch)
Status check function LED displays transmitter status, LCD displays
operating status (operate magnet switch or tact switch. )
interface USB 2.0,USB Micro-B connector
power Built-in battery (lithium primary battery, voltage 3V, capacity 5000mAh)* Operates at an ambient temperature of 20°C (measured once per hour)
for about 1 month, but the operating time is shorter at low temperatures. (Reference value) Operates at an ambient temperature of 0°C for about 3 weeks, operates at an ambient temperature of -20°C for about 1 week
External power supply (AC adapter “SA-10A-EDS” sold separately recommended) DC 10-16V
connector RM12BRD-4PH (Hirose Electric)USB power
supply USB2.0, DC 4.8-5.2V
(Bus-powered from USB Micro-B port.) )
Current consumption In reception mode (built-in battery) average approx. 60mA (DC3V) in reception mode (external power supply) average approx. 60mA (DC12V) (10 reception operating time when 1 transmitters are connected, approx. 6 minutes) in sleep mode (built-in battery)

1μA or less (DC3V)

In sleep mode (external power supply) 1mA or less (DC12V) in PC connection mode (USB power supply) average approx. 80mA (DC5V)

* When powered by USB, it is always in the startup state and does not sleep.

Protective structure IP3X (protection against foreign solids with a diameter of 2.5 mm or more)
Operating temperature and humidity range -20 to 50°C, 10 to 95% (non-condensing)
* The operating temperature range does not guarantee battery life.
* When using the AC adapter “SA-10A-EDS”, which is sold separately, the operating temperature range should be 0 to 40°C.
External dimensions 100 (W) × 35(H) × 100 (D) mm (excluding external antenna and connector)
