Maeda Koki MKCM Type Oil Signal
Made in Japan
Manufacturer: Maeda Machinery Research Institute Ltd.
Model: MKCM Type
Features
- Flow switch
- Detects the flow of fluid and turns the switch ON or OFF at the specified flow rate.
- *The switch is fixed (the setting cannot be changed later). A flow detector that checks the flow of fluid by the movement of a float inside a transparent tube that
allows you to see the flow of oil at a glance . Comes with a protective cover. - The metal protective cover reduces the possibility of damage from external impacts . No need to worry about the installation direction . A spring is used inside, so the installation position can be freely adjusted, such as upward, downward, or sideways.

Precautions when using flow switches
1. Precautions regarding magnetic fields
- Reed switches are magnetic switches, so use them in a place where they will not be affected by magnetic fields.
- If there is a magnetic material such as iron near the reed switch, it may cause it to malfunction.
2. Electrical wiring precautions
- Be careful when wiring the flow switch to prevent overcurrent from flowing through the reed switch due to poor earth wiring etc.
- Please use the flow switch as an alarm detector whenever possible.
If you use it in conjunction with other electrical equipment, please take into consideration the effects of malfunction. - The lifespan of the reed switch will be extended if the operating voltage and current are kept as low as possible.
(Normally, the switch can be operated approximately 1 million times under conditions of 100V 0.5A.)
3. Caution regarding switch operation due to changes in oil temperature and viscosity
- If the temperature or viscosity of the oil changes, the switch may not operate at the set flow rate or the switch operating flow rate
may change.
