Alternative to whetstone polishing! Introducing a processing example using a super finisher with a measurement result of Ra 0.035 μm “Film polishing” achieves an excellent finished surface in a short time, and it is possible to minimize the occurrence of polishing unevenness and scratches.
We received a request from an automobile parts manufacturer for processing using a super finisher to improve surface roughness.
Ra 0.8 μm before processing, the required value is Ra 0.5 μm or less.
When using microfilm 9μ and processing for 15 seconds, the measurement result after processing was Ra 0.035μm.
