Meidensha Biomass Power Generation System

Manufacturer: Meidensha Corporation
Model: Biomass
Features
We have been actively working to construct a biomass power generation plant using renewable energy (rice husks, empty palm shells, wood chips, bagasse, etc.) having a significant effect of discharging and reducing greenhouse gas (methane and carbon dioxide). Effective use of renewable energy has been receiving lots of attention, and we can consider a power generation system using various types of biofuel. Please feel free to contact us.
Case Study
9.95 MW Rice Husk Burning Biomass Power Generation Facility for Thailand
The fuel used is rice husks that are waste from rice mills, which have not been conventionally used.
Switching from fossil fuels reduces greenhouse gases.
It is easy to obtain the rice husk fuel from nearby locations.
10.4 MW Palm Empty Fruit Bunch Burning Biomass Power Generation Facility for Thailand
The fuel used is palm kernel shells (EFB: Empty Fruit Bunch), residues which have not been conventionally used.
The EFB contains oil, allowing us to contribute to the substitution effect of fossil fuel and the reduction of greenhouse gases such as methane and CO2 by effectively using it as fuel.
The company built the plant near a palm oil factory to secure a stable supply of EFB.
We can expect CO2 reduction of 1,100,000 tons in 6 years by supplying power generated using palm kernel shells as fuel.
