A holder called ‘Chip Cup (for backside)’ designed to prevent and collect metal filings during metal panel drilling.

Features

Preparation before use

1. Turn the cap in the direction to unlock it and remove it.
2. Push out the bottom of the holder from the inside, or pull it from the outside to expand it.

1. Remove the cap from the chip cup and stretch the rubber part.
2. Draw the center line for drilling on both the inside and outside of the metal panel, and align the line of the chip cup with this mark for temporary fixing.
3. Fix the ears of the top cover in place using protective tape or similar. *Although temporary fixing with magnets is possible, there is a risk of shifting or falling due to vibrations during drilling, so please make sure to fix it in two diagonal places with protective tape or similar.
4. After drilling, remove the chip cup
