This is an infrared-transmissive web edge sensor. It is used in combination with G-series controllers and drive units for web meandering control. It is suitable for edge detection of opaque webs and nonwoven fabrics.

Features
- The device uses infrared light as its light source and is suitable for detecting meandering in transparent and opaque films, as well as nonwoven fabrics.
- In dusty environments, the “DB” type with a dust blowing unit is effective.
- The “700S” with a switch panel is convenient because mode switching and teaching operations can be performed directly on the sensor unit. Furthermore, the switch panel version allows for a simpler system (driver and sensor only) without the need for a PEM-type controller.
