At MIURA, we offer a wide range of services, from performance testing before equipment delivery to maintenance after delivery. Another major advantage of MIURA is that we can provide advice on treatment method concerns and stable operation.
Performance Test
To meet requests such as, “We are considering introducing an exhaust gas treatment system, but we are not sure which treatment method is best,” or “We want to verify that the actual equipment will perform as expected on paper,” MIURA conducts on-site performance tests.

Odor index measurement experience
At Miura, we can measure the odor index. The odor index is not measured using analytical equipment, but rather using the human sense of smell.
At Miura, we offer a service that allows customers to experience measuring the odor index for themselves.
What is the odor index?
The odor index is a numerical expression of the level of an odor using the human sense of smell. The dilution factor when the original odor is diluted with odorless air until it is no longer detectable to the human sense of smell is called the odor concentration, and the odor index is calculated by multiplying the common logarithm by 10. The Offensive Odor Control Act introduces odor index regulations.

You can experience measuring the odor index for odors occurring in your factory, or odors before and after treatment in performance tests. Many participants have said, “By smelling the odors myself, judging them, and calculating the odor index, I was able to get a sense of how strong the odor index is actually.”

By drawing on this extensive track record, we can provide maintenance proposals that match each customer’s specific operating conditions and requirements. In addition, we not only recommend repairs when problems occur, but also actively propose preventive maintenance, so we help customers maintain stable operation over a much longer period. Furthermore, we can handle all-in-one contracts that cover everything from parts procurement through on-site installation to final operational checks, thereby offering a seamless and reliable support system.
Wet cleaning equipment/overhaul
Chemical cleaning equipment is widely used for odor control and exhaust gas treatment, and requires cleaning and replacement of internal parts and periodic repair of FRP. MIURA can also handle maintenance of ancillary equipment such as fans and pumps.
Wet activated carbon adsorption device/activated carbon replacement
Activated carbon adsorption equipment is widely used at waste disposal plants and other facilities, and requires periodic replacement of activated carbon.
We can also arrange for vacuum trucks and take back and recycle used activated carbon.
We can also analyze the deterioration of the activated carbon we bring back.
Denitration equipment/honeycomb catalyst replacement
Denitrification equipment used to remove NOx requires periodic catalyst replacement.
In addition to arranging for heavy machinery and removing and installing the catalyst, we can also check operation after replacement.
Dry desulfurization equipment/desulfurization agent replacement
Dry desulfurization equipment used in methane fermentation facilities requires periodic replacement of desulfurizing agents.
Used desulfurizing agents generate heat when exposed to air, so great care must be taken when replacing them.
