It separates 99.99% of mist with particle diameters of 8 μm or more and 99.99% of solids with particle diameters of 5 μm or more.

Principles and Features

Because the system uses multiple cyclones, each cyclone spins the incoming gas and forces the mist and solids outward, and these particles then move downward to the drain under centrifugal force. In addition, the system provides a self-cleaning function that operates without any cleaning fluid, and it can therefore handle large amounts of mist and solids. Moreover, maintenance remains simple, since operators only need to perform periodic blowdown to remove the collected solids.”
