This separator separates mist from gas streams with high separation efficiency and low pressure drop. It is used when strict separation is required or when large amounts of liquid need to be separated.

Purpose

Performance

It separates 99.99% of mist with particle diameters of 8 μm or more.
In the case of steam, the outlet dryness can be 99.9%.
It can also be used at 30 to 100% of the design flow rate.

Principles and Features

Pocketed vane blades are arranged at equal intervals parallel to the gas flow, and mist is separated by collision, contact, and inertia as it passes between them. The
separated mist then flows down into the drain pot at the bottom.
