The CVU15 vacuum breaker is an automatic valve that takes in air from outside into a steam system and breaks occurred vacuums.
Typical applications
Suitable for steam devices, steam lines, and liquid devices such as boiler tanks.

This product may occur steam leaks slightly from the air inlet connection because of metal-to-metal seals.
Please connect the pipe to air inlet connection and pull piping to a safe location when installing.

Operating Principle
Normal state
In a normal state, pressure P1 inside the line is applied to the connection, and the pressure P2 of the air intake is atmospheric pressure.
P1 is higher than P2 (P1>P2), and the valve is closed by this differential pressure.
Operating state
If the pressure in the line becomes negative, the pressure P1 at the connection becomes lower than the pressure P2 at the air intake (P1<P2).
The valve is opened by this differential pressure.
The valve is closed when the air flows in the line and the pressure in the line is increased. It will return back to Nomal state.
