Self acting pressure reducing valve for steam
Automatic valve that reduces the steam supply pressure to a defined set pressure.
The downstream side directly responds to pressure fluctuations on the upstream side, maintaining a continuous flow adjustment. This dynamic interaction ensures smooth pressure transitions throughout the system.No external energy required
Operating features of direct acting pressure reducing valves
Downstream pressure changes are detected in the detection chamber, and the degree of opening of the valve is directly adjusted to maintain the set pressure.

Minimum differential pressure is 10% of the primary side. Adjustable flow rate ranges from 3 to 30 kg/h (6.6 to 66 lb/h). Lockup pressure reaches up to 0.03 MPa (4.4 psig). The offset hits 60% when pressure is 0.1 MPa (14.5 psig) or less, 0.07 MPa (10.2 psig) between 0.1 and 0.6 MPa (87 psig), and 0.1 MPa (14.5 psig) at 0.6 MPa (87 psig).
