NDV provides various types of ball valves suitable for a wild range of fields.
It is possible to select from a wide range of lineups such as multi-way valves and V-port valves to suit your application, in addition to the standard fire-safe type.
We also apply requests for special purpose valves used under high pressure and those for shield machine and nuclear power plants.
Features
①Body shape of the wide angle
A wide angle of 135°compared with 90° bend angle of a general 3-way ball valve enables the passage of a pig or sphere for cleaning in a pipe.
②Optional mounting position
There are two types of flanges: straight type and 22.5° bent. Various patterns can be selected by combining these two types of flanges in any three places.
③Ball
The ball and stem are fixed and there is no deviation in opening due to backlash between the ball and valve shaft. In addition, since the radius of curvature of the ball port is 1.5 times or more of the bore diameter, pressure loss is small, and in the case of a highly abrasive fluid, the damage of the ball is less than that of a general 3-way valve.
④Primary sealing mechanism
Spring (cushion rubber for DN100 and metallic spring for DN125 and larger) is provided at the back of the seat, so it is excellent in sealing even if there is temperature-cycle and pressure-fluctuation. The sealing is performed by the seat on the primary side (inlet side). Therefore, the function deterioration due to the inflow of fluid into the pocket part can be reduced.
⑤O-ring seal
Since O-rings are used for the sealing parts, the sealing performance is stable and no periodic retightening is required.
⑥Stable bearing function
Bearings made of specially reinforced PTFE are mounted on the upper and lower shafts of the ball to prevent galling and withstand high-frequency operation.
⑦Purge hole
Two purge holes are provided in the main body to prevent fluid from stagnating c by air charging to the pocket, leak check against seat wear, and purge of fluid remaining in the pocket.

Solid materials such as powder, slurry, pellets, etc., shield method, etc.
