• Primarily designed for power plant installations, the valves are used for critical services such as high-pressure steam line drain, continuous blowdown, line warm-up, cooling water stop, or control for desuperheating systems.
• The linear or angle type drop-forged steel body with a unique bonnet design ensures strong, compact, and reliable construction.
• The special trim design with an intermediate cage-guided double plug separates sealing surfaces from modulating ones, ensuring, through appropriate material selection, perfect and dependable sealing.
• A broad range of multi-step trim combinations makes the valve suitable for modulating and on/off services involving extremely high-pressure drops where reliable sealing is required.
• For applications involving erosion and cavitation, single or multiple concentric cages with special drilling are available.
• The 1-7000 valves are typically equipped with single or double diaphragm multi-spring pneumatic actuators, with electric or hydraulic actuators available upon request.
