Purpose

To provide the most suitable fuel oil to the main and auxiliary engines, engineers heat the gluey oil to about 120~150℃ so that the oil can be misted. Consequently, steam and air must exist in the return pipe of F.O. to ensure proper operation.
For retaining the pump from the cavitation and the vapor- lock, air must be discharge. This device can automatically discharge steamed gas and air.
