Bearing types

Bearings come in two main types: plain bearings and rolling bearings.
Plain bearings support a shaft on a sliding surface, using an oil film to reduce friction. They perform well under vibration, high speed, and impact.
Rolling bearings use balls or rollers between two rings. Ball bearings use balls; roller bearings use rollers. Among them, deep groove ball bearings are the most widely used thanks to their simplicity, reliability, and versatility.

Double-sided shield type (ZZ)

This type of bearing has grease sealed inside and is covered on both sides with metal shields. Grease is already sealed inside, reducing maintenance. It has low friction torque and excellent dust resistance. It is ideal for use with machine tools and precision machining equipment.
