Nikki NLT8 Series Hanging LED floodlight

Manufacturer: Nikki Co., Ltd.
Model: NLT8 Series
Features
This is a straight tube LED light with a built-in LED source and power supply. It’s over 50% brighter at 1m than traditional 40W fluorescent tubes and offers flicker-free, gentle illumination thanks to its unique power supply design.
With a 60,000-hour lifespan at 25°C, it ensures excellent maintainability. It also features protection against inrush currents, surges, and power outages, and boasts high insulation for added safety.
The polycarbonate body is lightweight, shock-resistant, and drop-proof. It uses a standard G13 base and can be installed in existing fixtures with bypass construction, offering significant energy savings.
Its 220° beam angle provides wide, even lighting.
Application Examples
Ceiling lighting in offices and offices, shop window and display lighting, etc.

Calculated at 28.33 yen per kWh based on the electricity rate for Kansai Electric Power Co.’s 60A Time-of-Use Light B (as of October 2016) contract.
Calculation results assuming lighting for 10 hours per day for one month (30 days).
If you replace glow-type fluorescent lamps with LEDs, you can save more than 250 yen per lamp per month.
You can save more than 3,000 yen per unit per year on your electricity bill.
The role of constant current circuitsIf a surge occurs in the power supply, the surge protection circuit will protect the LED.
If the DC power supply is not fully rectified, AC waves will remain and cause flickering.
Once fully rectified, there will be no flicker.
Flickering can cause eye fatigue
If rectification is incomplete, slight AC waves will remain, causing flickering.
Flickering can cause eye fatigue.
Role of the constant current circuit ①
With a built-in constant current circuit, a constant current always flows through the LED, even if there is a sudden voltage rise (surge).
This ensures that the brightness remains constant at all times. In addition, as the current does not exceed the rated value, deterioration of the LED is prevented, resulting in a longer lifespan.
Role of constant current circuit ②
By removing the waves in the AC, the resulting current is rectified, eliminating flicker and causing less eye fatigue even when used for long periods of time.

General office: 12m length x 10.5m width x 2.5m height (126㎡)
Fluorescent lamp arrangement and illuminance distribution
Illumination on a desk with fluorescent lighting: average illuminance 752 lux
(minimum illuminance 353 lux, maximum illuminance 1147 lux)
Average monthly power consumption: 39 units (1 unit x 2 lights) assuming 21 working days per month 98W x 10 (hours) /1000 x 21 days = average power consumption 802.6kWh
*Please ask a qualified electrician to replace fluorescent lights with LEDs.
Illuminance distribution after replacing with LED
By replacing fluorescent lights with LEDs, power consumption has been significantly reduced and the lighting has become much brighter, making the office feel brighter.
Furthermore, although it is not visible to the naked eye, fluorescent lights tend to flicker, which can cause eye fatigue. However, our linear LEDs are expected to eliminate this flicker and reduce eye fatigue.
Illumination on the desk after replacing with LED: Average illuminance 943 lux
(minimum illuminance 376 lux, maximum illuminance 1487 lux)
Average monthly power consumption: If the number of working days is 21 days/month, 39 units (1 unit x 2 lights) x 38W x 10 (hours) /1000 x 21 days = average power consumption 311.2 kWh
