Grinding Wheels for Cermet
Salios is a new kind of diamond wheel made especially for cermet applications, based on Uplas bond; a composite of special ceramics bond and metal bond.
Characteristics of Salios Wheels
The conventional wheel soon loads, consequently spoils its sharpness and results in burn marks and cracks in cermet grinding. This problem increases the need for dressing and significantly decrease the wheel life and efficient grinding.
The Salios wheels, which use new Uplas bond, are resistant to loading and dull sharpness, which radically decreases the
need for dressing, stabilizes the surface quality and significantly improves the efficiency.
